My name is Louise Webb, I trained as a counsellor over ten years ago and have been working in private practice counselling, since gaining my Diploma from the C.S.C.T. (Central School of Counselling Training)

I have worked in many varied settings with individuals and groups of all ages and from all backgrounds. My particular form of counselling, Person Centred, works on the basic principle that, we all, as individuals are capable of finding our own answers to relevant questions, if the correct conditions and right ingredients are created for us. Part of this being that we feel safe and secure enough to access our own answers, without criticism or judgement. Therefore my aim in our sessions together will be to give you the tools and ingredients you need to find your own answers to the issues you are facing, not to solve your problems for you . Only your own answers will work for you and assist you in becoming the unique individual you have a right to be.

I work to a strict code of conduct, morals and privacy, as directed by the C.S.C.T. No information disclosed to me during e-mail counselling will be disclosed to any other person, apart from during supervision sessions where I may discuss your case without using your name or details. The only other time information would be disclosed would be if at any time I felt any client to be a threat to themselves or to any other person
